What this website covers
IMOolympiad.com explains the International Mathematical Olympiad, national team-selection pathways and mathematical preparation. It is an independent information website and is not the official website of the IMO or a national organising body.
Our sources
We prioritise official regulations, current annual notices, national organisers and recognised programme partners. Country pages link to their sources so you can check the complete rules.
Our current coverage
The directory currently includes 34 country and territory guides. It does not yet cover every IMO delegation. The syllabus is an editorial preparation curriculum, not an exhaustive official IMO chapter list.
Dates and corrections
The research supporting this edition was checked on 23 September 2026. Rules and dates can change. Where an official page contains a contradiction, we flag the uncertainty instead of estimating a correction. The organiser’s current notice is authoritative for applications and eligibility.
Using the information
Read the country guide for context, then complete applications through the official organiser. This site does not collect contest applications, student eligibility documents or competition fees.

Papers and results
Our archive links distinguish official questions, answer keys, solutions and result notices. Selected NZMOC files are hosted with their published licence. Read the source and reuse policy.
Editorial scope
We write explanations for students and parents, cite the rules behind factual claims and keep uncertainty visible. We do not claim official endorsement, invent reviewer credentials or promise a medal, admission advantage or search ranking.
Editorial responsibility and corrections
IMOolympiad.com is responsible for the summaries and teaching material published here. Official organisers remain responsible for competition rules, applications and decisions. We link the source next to season-sensitive information and distinguish verified facts from unresolved details.

What the directory covers
The country finder includes 149 official delegation records, including historical entries. 34 have researched guides. An official-reference entry is a starting point, not a claim that we have checked that country’s complete application process. The detailed country guides are in English. The entry-help page also has short introductory summaries in Spanish, French, Portuguese and Arabic; these are not translations of national eligibility regulations.
