Find the applicable annual notice

The education ministry publishes secondary-school Olympiad notices and published national-final results for 2026. Those records establish the programme, but they do not by themselves explain how a new student enters the next cycle. Ask your school for the current mathematics circular and the authority responsible for your region.

Start with a suitable level

Ask for a released first-stage mathematics paper in the language and school level used locally. A confirmed public archive was not located for this guide. You can still work through our original practice plan while your teacher obtains a suitable local paper.

National and international records

The ministry’s 2026 national-finals announcement concerns several science subjects; select mathematics. Morocco’s IMO profile concerns the international competition, not the first local round.

If your school does not take part

Ask the school or regional education authority for the relevant annual circular and whether an alternative entry arrangement is permitted. The official IMO profile also identifies a national contact; the IMO itself does not accept direct student applications.
