These two-session papers develop the sustained proof writing needed for the national round. Each set has six original problems, arranged as two groups of three.

For school year 9, by invitation through the Mathematik-Olympiade pathway. Grade 10 and higher-year papers differ and are not covered by these Grade 9 sets.

Five independently authored practice papers follow the stated structure. Difficulty is editorial, not statistically calibrated to a particular competition year. These papers are not endorsed by the organisers.

Before you start

Be ready to combine several ideas, introduce useful auxiliary objects and explain why a construction or extremal choice works. Complete one session before studying its hints.
